In 2021, our Founder and Chief Learning Officer, Rebekah Harding, started her own consulting business, Clover Strategic Consulting, to better help museums create healthy workplace cultures. After 18 months of working with executive directors and the board of directors, she realized a top-down approach was not working.
In January 2023, Rebekah took bold action and shifted the focus of our business from working with institutions to working directly with the museum and nonprofit workers.
The answer is yes, we do. And what we have learned over the past two years is that the thirst and commitment for change are found in the workers, not necessarily in those who are in charge.
Therefore, we are excited to shift towards a new change model, providing human-centered professional development that museum and nonprofit workers need at a price they can afford.
Because of below-industry salary levels, professional development programs and rigorous executive coaching opportunities are out of reach for most museum and nonprofit workers.
We think the answer is flexibility, which can be found in our new signature suite of offerings, The Museum Mentor Network.
Within this network, museum and nonprofit workers can access professional development in four ways: on-demand learning, cohort group learning, 1:1 coaching, and one to multi-day events.
